LANTERN LANE Studio - Kim S. MacKenzie (PhD) - 'Passionate About Human Potential'
The LANTERN LANE Studio represents Kim’s return to full time pastel artwork production after 12 years of post graduate study and employment in Higher Education. Prior to this, Kim established her visual art career over a 15 year period under her maiden name of Kim Gallagher, producing over 130 unique pastel art images for gallery exhibitions, tailored commercial products, and printed publications. Her original motivation for returning to university was to pursue expertise in leveraging Internet resources for the promotion of her artwork.
Since 2019 a prolific era of production has resulted in a rapidly expanding body of new artworks which are being used to produce a unique series of e-books and a variety of printed products. All original artworks are created with soft pastels on cotton paper and measure approximately 57cm x 76cm. On completion they are digitally photographed for commercial reproduction.
The LANTERN LANE Studio (and office) is situated in Camp Hill Brisbane and is open for artwork inspection by appointment (phone 0400748815).
